Also TCP/80 &/or TCP/443 if you want to enable web-based configuration
functionality.

Subject: OT:Ciscoworks Port # for PIX/Acls

Group,

Does anyone have a document or list handy which lists all the ports #
that need to be opened on a PIX (incoming and outgoing) for Cisco works
to communicate with routers and switches.

Also what ports needed to be opened on a router/switch ACL if we are
going to use the Cisco works box pretty much to its full
capability..like
dump router configs onto Cworks, IOS upgrades etc..wanted to confirm
with
what I have.

I think the following should do it -

161/udp (Standard port for SNMP Polling)
162/udp (Standard port for SNMP Traps)
23/tcp (Standard port for Telnet)
22/tcp (Standard port for SSH)
69/udp (Standard port for TFTP)
514/tcp (RCP port)

Thanks.

Kasturi.
