That would seem correct. 2 packets within 1 - 10 second interval.

Subject: The IP multicast heartbeat

Hi Group,

Question on IP multicast heartbeat.

Here is the syntax.
ip multicast heartbeat group-address minimum-number window-size interval

If the question is to ask, for 234.10.10.1, router will send message( trap)
if it didn't see any traffic within 5 second of interval, length of the
windows should be 10 second.

I would derive a solution like the following:

"ip multicast heartbeat 234.10.10.1 2 1 10"

Any comments ?

Here I have attached the explanation form doc.
also a link with it. There is an example in the link.

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122cgcr/fipr
mc_r/mult/1rfmult2.htm#1078360

minimum-number
Number of packets to be received within a specified number of intervals.

window-size
Window size within which a specified number of intervals must receive a
specified number of packets.

interval
Number of seconds interval to receive packet. Value must be a multiple of
10.

Thanks,
David
