I assume you mean the latest 'GD' one available! Checking the memory requirements and release notes for the one you plan on using is always a good idea also. And like Brian said, definitely save a copy of the config, the old IOS if you need to erase the flash, and do it after hours. Check the hardware compatibility matrix also to make sure all the modules you're using will be supported. Real important with 3600s.
