Thanks, Richard, After reading through the Link that
you have provided, I believed this is internal &
interarea routes here. I have not touch the external
routes yet.
The area information is missing from my e-mail:
between r2-r4 area 49.0024.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.00 using L2
between r4-r3 area 49.0042.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.00 using L1
when x denotes the router id.
The problem is on the 136.10.24.x route.
i ia 136.10.24.0/29 [115/20] via 40.40.40.4, e0/0
All the rest route are able to have value of 30,
if I changed the isis metric value to other than 20 on
r4( say 30), then all the routes come from r2 will
chnage to 40 even the 136.10.24.0/29 would change to
30, any ideas ?
Thanks,
David
