Sorry, I haven't checked the int vlan b/w default setting. It is 1000M. Do I need to change it to 100M to reflect the real cost of FE if the question doesn't mention?
Switch1>sh int vlan 101
Vlan101 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is EtherSVI, address is 000d.293e.1f00 (bia 000d.293e.1f00)
Internet address is 9.9.9.9/24
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1000000 Kbit, DLY 10 usec,

Hi group,
It is stange that the auto-cost ref-bw is different for vlan and router-port. Any idea? By default, vlan reference to 1000M and router port reference to 100M?
interface FastEthernet0/17
no switchport
ip address 1.1.1.1 255.255.255.0
end
interface FastEthernet0/20
switchport access vlan 101
switchport mode dynamic desirable
no ip address
end
interface Vlan101
ip address 9.9.9.9 255.255.255.0
end
When auto-cost reference-bandwidth set to 1000
Switch1#sh ip ospf int f0/17
FastEthernet0/17 is up, line protocol is up (connected)
Internet Address 1.1.1.1/24, Area 0
Process ID 1, Router ID 218.102.19.174, Network Type BROADCAST, Cost: 10
Switch1#sh ip ospf int vlan 101

Internet Address 9.9.9.9/24, Area 0
Process ID 1, Router ID 218.102.19.174, Network Type BROADCAST, Cost: 1
Transmit Delay is 1 sec, State DR, Priority 1
When auto-cost reference-bandwidth set to 10000
