Hear hear! I think I have learned as much from Brian McGahan's and Brian
Dennis' posts (along with other gurus such as Howard C. Berkowitz and
Scott Morris) as I have from any of those practice labs.

Thanks guys!!

Paul,
As far as supporting GroupStudy, I don't see how you can
honestly
say that Brian McGahan and I do not support GroupStudy. Both of us have
spent countless hours replying to hundreds of postings on GroupStudy.
In
the past year alone we have replied to nearly 1000 e-mails on
GroupStudy.
If someone was really interested in supporting GroupStudy, they should
not
only give 'money', but give their 'time' helping the people here on this
list.
Brian McGahan and I have offered both. If there were not people willing
to
give up their own time to help others (Scott Morris, Howard Berkowitz,
Dave
Madland, and countless others) where would GroupStudy be today?

Although we are not selling our workbook in your store, we have
offered many times (without your reply) to purchase banner ads to help
support GroupStudy. As I have personally offered numerous times in the
past, I will cover your monthly hosting fees in regards to the
GroupStudy
servers. This offer still holds true today.

It is not fair to IPExpert and CertificationZone (both resellers
in
your store) that you make a recommendation to buy NetMaster's CCIE
products
over their CCIE products. Isn't GroupStudy supposed to be a vendor
independent list?

Lastly, I hope that this e-mail does not get Brian McGahan or I
removed from the list. Personally I've been here for 4 years and truly
enjoy answering questions and helping others. If GroupStudy needs
financial
support just tell me where to send a check.

Internetworking Experts have chosen not to support GroupStudy by
allowing us to sell their product in the store. Netmaster and IP Expert
does support us by allowing us to sell their product in the store. The
amount of money we receive from reselling both products is very generous
and allows me to pay the $500/month bill for the operation of
GroupStudy.

If you are in the market and are debating between Netmaster and Internet
Experts, please take a hard look at Netmaster. Netmaster seems to be
the current market leader, they have fantastic support, and are very
proactive with keeping the product updated. The Netmaster authors are
well regarded for their book Bridges, Routers and Switches for CCIEs,
which seems to be a "Must Have" for CCIE Students
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0130903892/groupstudycom.
Go to any bookstore and take a look at their CCIE prep book to get an
idea of their writing style. A sample lab of the Netmaster product is
available at:

http://shop.groupstudy.com/product_info.php?cPath=23_24&products_id=33.

This month we have been allowed to sell the Netmaster product for $120
off the regular price. This special is good until December 31.

Take care,

Paul

I was aware of only Inexpert and Netmasters. I haven't heard about
"Internetwork Expert's CCIE Routing & Switching Lab Workbook". It looks
very
impressive, Does anyone used this book...any feedback

Paul: Do you have this book on gorupstudy to purchase.

I am not happy with IPexpert at all, for the name of solution they just
provide only router configs.. not a single work for explanation. It's
very
frustrating sometimes when you got stuck somewhere and you don't find
any
details.
