Pursuing the CCIE is by no means a cheap or easy undertaking, but the
equipment is MUCH less expensive than it was just a year ago. You can learn
a lot of the hardest and most time-consuming lessons in a lab that is
surprisingly cheap. I will not list the different combinations of
equipment, as there are countless posts about this subject.
I will not say more than that, because I know we all have different
financial burdens and resources and I know nothing of your situation.
