Subject: ISIS over Frame-Relay
How would I overcome the problem running ISIS over Frame-Relay in
Hub/Spoke Environments: Here is the issue: Hub Router: configured as
P2M, so the default network type is p2MOne Spoke: Configured as
Non-Broadcast2nd Spoke: Configured as P2P. Note: Interface
configuration can't be changed. In OSPF environments, one can easily fix
this by using "IP OSPF NETWORK" Command, but there is no such command
for ISIS, I guess, unless 12.2 offers something which I don't know. The
only thing I come up with use Tunnel interfaces that could build the
adjanceny b/w the routers without violating any rules. Thanks in
advance, Abbas
