Hello there!
I am configuring HSRP, I want the active router to respond with the MAC
address, now here is the trick, would I configure the
standby 2 mac-address xxx.cde.cff
using a virtual MAC address for the virtual router, or should I configures
HSRP to use the burned-in address of an interface as its virtual MAC address
instead of the preassigned MAC address,
standby use-bia .........
it is very confusing.
Do I get the virtual MAC address after I configure the Virtual IP!!!!
