Just working on Mobile IP having no real experience with it.
After trying, reading and wondering: How are mobile nodes "connected" to a virtual network?

one configuration-proposal

interface Loopback55
 ip address 55.55.55.5 255.255.255.0

ip mobile home-agent
ip mobile virtual-network 55.55.55.0 255.255.255.0
ip mobile host 55.55.55.6 55.55.55.10 virtual-network 55.55.55.0 255.255.255.0
ip mobile secure host 55.55.55.6 55.55.55.10 spi 100 key ascii obelix

router mobile
router ospf 1
 redi mobile sub

Do I need the loopback? Can the mobile nodes reach this home-agent over any interface? Are there unsolicited advertisements by the home-agent on all its interfaces that it is offering its service?

On "the other side" I need a foreign-agent, that's ok and not my question.
