Guys,
In the Cisco world, 802.1x can have two support topologies
The 802.1X port-based authentication is supported in two topologies:
Point-to-point
Wireless LAN

Have just downloaded the MS 802.1x client for w2k, and am just about to
play.
Looking at their documentation, they have only ever tested 802.1x with
wireless. I am just wondering if point-to-point will be supported from an MS
standpoint.

Has anyone ever had an MS client running 802.1x on win2k, or XP and used it
in a point-to-point topology?
Many thx,
ken
