Guys, just pulled this from the CD......for a Cisco 800

Question is,
How do you determine if an FXS uses alaw or ulaw on a 2600 router? Can you
set it, how do you display it?
The only thing I can find uner the voice-port 1/0/0 command is cptone?

Many thx indeed,
Ken

alaw and ulaw
Specifies the pulse code modulation (PCM) encoding scheme for telephones,
fax machines, or modems connected to a Cisco 800 series router. The keywords
are as follows:

alaw-Specifies the ITU-T PCM encoding scheme used to represent analog voice
samples as digital values.
ulaw-Specifies the North American PCM encoding scheme used to represent
analog voice samples as digital values.
The default depends on the country chosen in the pots country command (on a
cisco 800)
