You could also use:

10Meg3550.Wbo(config-if)#switchport broadcast ?
<0-100> Broadcast suppression level as a % of total bandwidth

Subject: Limiting broadcast in Catalyst

Hi all,

I'm sure I read somewhere sometime ago that we can limit the broadcast
of
ethernet in a switch, say cat 3550. What do I need to do on the switch
to
limit the broadcast level to say, less than 20%? I've been trying to dig
on
the solution so much that I'm beginning to think that the question is
not
even valid...help!!!

Thanks
CH
