[HELP] ISIS route-leaking from another area

Can anybody confirm if I can route-leak L2 from null area to L1 (area 25) ?
I tried the below commands but doesn't seem to work. In the spoke router of
area 25, all I can see is still a default route.

BTW, is that true the 2nd area IS-type must be L1 only ?

 redistribute isis ip level-2 into level-1 distribute-list 101
 net 49.0024.2222.2222.2222.00
