Hello Brian,
Along these same lines, any suggestions as far as PPPOFR. Specifically to
get the frame pvc you have to build a virtual template like:
!
interface Virtual-Template1
ip address negotiated
ppp chap hostname <whatever>
ppp chap password <password>
ppp ipcp accept-address
ppp ipcp dns accept
On top of this you have to allow the entire rfc 1918 172 address block in
for your ip assignment and in turn, this ip becomes your virtual access
interface, and you have to default route to an ip address in the 172 block.
You get you Internet block upon sucessful authentication and ip assignment.
The problem is that all of you traffic has to flow over the 172.
The way I see this is it renders the Router useless, other than for getting
you Internet Block or am I missing something?
