in fairness to the fairer members of our board. I will make a comment.

If you have 2 women on the phone, chances are that one is talking and the
other one is actually listening. Hence, VAD still helps to reduce
bandwidth, even if it is only unidirectional.

whereas most men i know would interuppt. lol
