This should work depending on the IOS version(12.2) and router model (I know
it works on 2600 and 3600's):

tclsh
foreach pl {
172.16.10.1
172.16.80.8
} {ping $pl}

If not you can change the Hyperterminal settings (TCLSH is much faster!!):
File
Properties
Settings
ASCII Setup
Line Delay (increase this time)
Character Delay (increase this time)

I'm sure there are many other ways to manipulate the Telnet software you are
using but I would have to say that the TCLSH works great especially in the
lab!!
