Thanks for the responses. I will try to combine all the responses in one email.
Topology is as follows:
PicTel --Switch--Router --T1--Router--Switch--Pictel.
Currently there is no QoS being used. My understanding was that QoS needs to be implemented when there is congestion. Currently there is no other traffic on the link. I have only enabled, rtp header-compression.
I will verify the fps on the PIctel and see if I can set it to 30fps.
1. Actual LAN/WAN topology and mark where you have places the PICTel. *** (See above)
2. End to end ping delay. *** (10 ms average)
3. IP Precedense on PICTel equipment. *** (Is there a setting on the Pictel?)
4. bandwidth allocated (parameters set ) on PICTEL *** (Tried using 384 to 1024 but got no difference)
5. coverage area of the what kind of video is being transmitted ( still,
slow or fast) *** (Used for meetings only, so there is movement but not much).
6. Actual problem that you are having ...missing frames, blocks,
synchronization ...and when it occur I mean when you stand still and /OR
when the image is moving. *** (Problem occurs when there is movement, the video freezes for a split second and then comes back. It is not smooth flowing. The quality was very good when we were using ISDN (384)
Thank you.
