Management vlan per se is a network where all the management interface of
the switches would ideally belong to. management vlan ideally should not
have data traffic, i.e. do not connect any host on vlan that is used for
management vlan.
maybe you guys are referring to management interface in set command switches
are sc0 and the 3550 by default is vlan1 but it could be any vlan interface
you want .
