I didn't see any further followup in this thread. You can't delete VLAN 1,
however you can manually prune it from the trunk on a 3550. I just tested it
and verified that the client no longer receives any VTP updates......as
expected. In a previous thread a few weeks ago, Dave Madland mentioned
something about this too. A little gotcha if you're not careful.
