You cannot remove VLAN 1 from the Allowed list on trunks...

The way I understand it, there's no such thing as a management vlan per
se
on the 3550 - any int vlan x assigned an ip address can be a "management
vlan" in the sense of the Cat 5k meaning as long as it can telnetted to.
