The way I understand it, there's no such thing as a management vlan per se
on the 3550 - any int vlan x assigned an ip address can be a "management
vlan" in the sense of the Cat 5k meaning as long as it can telnetted to.

VTP traffic flows, I believe, on vlan 1 which, by default, can never be
deleted, but I'm not sure what happens if vlan 1 isn't allowed on trunks.
