I've posted this before, but here it is again.
One of the proctors stated to me specifically that I would not be
penalized for over configuring unless it broke a requirement, either in
that section or some other part of the exam.
The best approach is to configure the minimum possible commands to meet
and lock down the requirements of the lab booklet.
