No, there is no penalty for extra configuration unless the task
specifically states so. One of the strategies I recommend to students
is just to put every single possible IOS command in. That way they
can't fail you, right? Some people don't like this approach as it
implies learning every command and typing really fast all day long. The
trick to it is to type every command into notepad, and then paste it all
in at about 4:25 right before the exam is over.
