guys, have set this up
host------------------RTR1------------------Policy Server
When a host sends a COPS request (RSVP) to the policy server, this is done
unicast. How does a router intercept this and create an RSVP reservation.
I cant spend any more time on this now, as I gotta crack on :(( but if
anyone has this RSVP client and has got the router to setup a resevation
from the PDP, pls let me know.

##############################################
For the LAB exam....
If you were asked to setup RSVP between two points in a network for a
conversation, I ASSUME, that your would have to set this up using the "IP
RSVP BAND XXX XX" AND THIS WOULD HAVE TO BE PERFORMED NOT ONLY ON THE EDGE
BUT ON ALL INTERMEDIATE ROUTERS. (opps, caps)
############################################################################
##############################################
The above is the real question for the lab exam I need to know. The rest of
this e-mail is just for testing.

Subject: RE: RSVP Windows 200 Client (not server)
guys,
there is COPS ansd RSVP clients at this url. I am currently trying to get
the RSVP client to talk to the RSVP SERVER and the server to a router in
which i have a COPS server configured.
http://www.intel.com/labs/manage/cops/
So on the COPS client program, connect to the cops policy server (i put it
on another laptop) using
>connect rsvp ken 192.168.69.2
then from the client, issue a resv or path command
>path 1 i 134.134.134.245 5000 UDP 134.134.134.30 6000 1000.00 2
134.134.134.25
>resv 3 i 134.134.134.245 5000 UDP FF 1 134.134.134.30 6000 C 1000.00 1
134.134.134.26
On the server, just type init to bring the cops policy server up
>init
If anyone else has done this, please could you advise me, as its a little
tricky to get going.
many thx
