Hi Ken,
When you mentioned the IP addresses, I am assuming that you are talking
about the NATed address, and not the address configured on the interface of
that machine?
If so, then when you go from PCa to PCb, or vice versa, and you are
accessing the global IP of the other machine, then a translation needs to
take place... or the packet goes nowhere.
:)
But you seem to have a grip on the ideas from what I am reading in your
email.
