ring group question

source-bridge ring-group
 
Hey guys,
I am ran into a problem in one of my labs and want to verify if I am right on some things. It seems to me that the source bridge ring group doesn't when you are using DLSW and other protocols. But when you use source router bridging it does matter. Anybody care to explain why this is. It would seem that it would matter in both but it seems to be working for me in DLSW and I don't understand why it did.
