Tony,
I agree. I think the main reason the 3700 was introduced into the lab was
just as a replacement for the 2600s and 3640s which are now EOS. The lab was
therefore upgraded to their replacements 2600XMs and 3700s. The same thing
happened when the 2500s went EOL. I don't think the 3700 is going to
introduce any additional lab topics at this time. I would believe that Cisco
would announce the inclusion of the EtherSwitch Network Module before
including it in the lab.
