Uh.... He used the command as his example. You can question mark your
way through to see the exact syntax like so (note the spaces between the
numbers, the comma and the dash when specifying multiple vlans):

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 ?
  destination SPAN destination interface or VLAN
  filter SPAN filter VLAN
  source SPAN source interface, VLAN

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 source ?
  interface SPAN source interface
  remote SPAN source Remote
  vlan SPAN source VLAN

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 source vlan ?
  <1-4094> SPAN source VLAN

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 source vlan 1 ?
  , Specify another range of VLANs
  - Specify a range of VLANs
  both Monitor received and transmitted traffic
  rx Monitor received traffic only
  tx Monitor transmitted traffic only
  <cr>

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 source vlan 1 , ?
  <1-4094> SPAN source VLAN

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 source vlan 1 , 210 ?
  , Specify another range of VLANs
  - Specify a range of VLANs
  both Monitor received and transmitted traffic
  rx Monitor received traffic only
  tx Monitor transmitted traffic only
  <cr>

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 source vlan 1 , 210 - ?
  <1-4094> SPAN source VLAN

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 source vlan 1 , 210 - 1000 ?
  , Specify another range of VLANs
  both Monitor received and transmitted traffic
  rx Monitor received traffic only
  tx Monitor transmitted traffic only
  <cr>

ROUTER(config)#monitor session 1 source vlan 1 , 210 - 1000 rx ?
  <cr>

Mike W.
