Native CatOS? I'm assuming you mean Native IOS? If you do, then yes.
You can do that no problem.
Also, something to keep in mind. If you're using one or more VLANs as
your source for a span session, don't worry about using the "both"
keyword. Use either 'rx' or 'tx' as that will get everything you need.
Using the 'both' keyword will simply give you double data (the same data
twice over).
