Subject: Unicast RIP

Hi

Have a requirement that needs RIPv2 between 2 routers on a LAN.
Only these routers are to exchange routing info and do it via Unicast
not
Multi or Broadcast.

Will the neighbor command work for this scenario?

r1--------------e1----------------r2
10.108.20.1 10.108.20.2

!r1
router rip
network 10.108.0.0
passive-interface ethernet 1
neighbor 10.108.20.2

!r2
router rip
network 10.108.0.0
passive-interface ethernet 1
neighbor 10.108.20.1

Or is there another way?

Kind regards
Larry
