Change the OSPF hello interval or change the OSPF network type.

When the hello interval in changed the dead interval will automatically
be set to four times the hello interval assuming that the OSPF dead
interval hasn't been manually set.

By changing the OSPF network type the OSPF hello and OSPF dead intervals
will change according to the network type.

Broadcast - 10 Hello 40 Dead
Non-Broadcast - 30 Hello 120 Dead
Point-to-Multipoint - 30 Hello 120 Dead
Point-to-Point - 10 Hello 40 Dead

Subject: OSPF Dead-Interval

How can you change the OSPF dead-interval time without using the
dead-interval command?
