Hi..everyone..
I have no cat3550 switch. so i don't test this configuration..
So, The people who has a catalyst 3550 help me solve this problom..
Thanks..
--------
Diagram
--------
(s0)-R1-(e0 1.1.1.1)-(Fa0/1)-Cat3550--(Fa0/2)-(e0 1.1.1.2)--R2-(s0)
-Cat 3550's Fa0/1 & Fa0/2 is included in Vlan 100.
-Cat 3550's IP is 1.1.1.3/24
-R1's E0 & R2's E0 is in OSPF-Area 1
-R1's & R2'S0 is in OSPF-Area0
---------
Question
---------
If One of the R1 & R2's Ethenet-interfaces goes down,
Make sure Cat3550 has an alternate route..!!
------------
My solution
------------
-If i use a Default-gateway configuration , It's not an answer
(Because it does not give an alternate route..)
- i think i must use a L3-interface, So
I put the "SVI 100-interfaces in the OSPF-Process" => is it right ??
ip routing
!
interface vlan 100
ip address 1.1.1.3 255.255.255.0
!
router ospf 1
network 1.1.1.3 0.0.0.0 area 1
