Sadovnikov Do you think IPVv6 will be on exam?

The question is about documentation 12.2T latest and latest 12.3 same IOS.

If you would look to Documentation set for 12.3 on each section you will
find on the beginning 12.3 = 12.2 + 12.2T : ) so if you need full
documentation better use 12.3

The big question for me how all this future really works with conjunction
other feature and old features.
As always documentation CD never gives you full understanding about
background issues.

In example feature: Frame-relay bundler for IP work prefect but if you would
need use IS-IS routing between two router and you have physical or
multipoint interface then you have to create static map CLNS to PVC bundler.
Well everything is prefect but IS-IS won't work on this configuration run
debug you will see different packet came from different PVC : ) that fool
IS-IS.

Or LSA-type 3 filtering I don't know why but if you have stub area and you
making filtering on router that connect to backbone area (ABR between BG and
stub ), default-route disappear on stub router. (Note: not imminently but
after while)

IPv6 support was implemented in 12.2T. I heard conflicting stories on what
considered to be 12.1 functionality and if the 'T' features are included. I
understand that after September 1st anything 12.2.T is fair game and yes it
will include almost 100% of IPv6 functionality available (and 100% of what
12.3 main line is). So if they are going to put it all on the exam a lot to
learn indeed.

Best regards,
Alexei

Hello Team,
I was reading up on Cisco's website, and it looks like 12.2 will be able to
support IPV6, there are features im reading about such as the following:
OSPFv3, IPv6 QoS and others are already released, while DHCPv6 Prefix
Delegation, IPv6 Multicast, NAT-PT enhancements
With advanced functionality such as Multi-Topology IS-IS for IPv6. There is
also a pretty big Section with BGP with IPV6.
The problem is that the DocCd has excellent documentation regarding IPV6 in
12.3 section, however, there is no documentation on 12.2 section, so my
conclusion is since Cisco's website does mention that there is IPV6
functionality on 12.2, I think its best to try and see if commands are there
in 12.2 and use the 12.3 documentation.
For those of us going for the exam after September 1st, looks like we have a
lot of work to do. grin :(
Sincerley,
Matijevic
