The DocCD doesn't explain nbma-mode very well. You should use it on a
multipoint subinterface (such as with Frame Relay) where you have more than
one Multicast neighbor. Without it, one neighbor could send a "leave"
message and the interface would stop transmitting Multicast packets,
ignoring other listeners on that interface. The nbma-mode command causes
the interface to recognize each multicast neighbor by their IP address, so
when one neighbor sends a "leave" message, the interface will know whether
any other neighbors are still active on that interface.
