Hi Moniz,
The problem got sorted out after I removed the encapsulation from the interface and re-configured the PVC's again.
Thanks for your info.. It was really useful.
Cheers

It is possibly because this PVC was created before and the router has no
been reloaded or power cycled
or in fact you have this PVC assigned to S0/0
Whenever you create a PVC or subinterface it does not go away until reload.

Subject: frame-relay map
Hi all,
I'm configuring a point to multipoint FR network. All necessary
configurations on the FR switch has been done.
When I configure FR map command on the edge router, I get the following
error:
R1(config)#int ser 0/0.1 multipoint
R1(config-subif)#frame-relay map ip 10.10.1.5 105
%PVC already assigned to interface Serial0/0
The configs on S0/0 is as follows :
interface Serial0/0.1 multipoint
ip address 10.10.1.1 255.255.0.0
frame-relay map ip 10.10.1.2 102
end
Any idea asto what the problem might be ?
Cheers
Raj
