You could setup a Linux box with IP Tables and
masquerading and use it as your firewall. Use private
IP on the interface that goes to your private net.
Do a NAT Hide for everything outbound.
Setup a rule to allow SSH to the public interface and
then telnet or ssh to your routers from the firewall.
IP Tables can also do port forwarding so you could
telnet to your public address and have it redirected
to a router that is setup as an access serve like a
2511 and have the async ports plugged into each router
in your router stack.
I'm doing something similar at home but my lab is
upstairs, cable modem, FW, and snort sensor
downstairs.
I use 802.11b to access my router stack upstairs.
Good luck!
Cheers,
Barney
