Hello, Group. Quick question on Voice's Translation Rules.
translation-rule 1
Rule 0 ^7 7711
voice-port 1/0/0
translate called 1
dial-peer voice 1 pots
destination-pattern 4411
port 1/0/0
!
dial-peer voice 2 voip
destination-pattern 7711
session target ipv4:150.50.7.7
Will the above config allow the phone to translate to 7711? Here's the requirement:
Configure the voice ports on R4 & R7 with the extenstions of 4411 and 7711 respectively. R4 & R7 should utilize the IP infrastructure for all calls. If R4 dials the first digit of 7, calls should be routed to R7
But when I press 7, nothing happens.... even though the "test translation-rule" output (please see below) seems to say that it should work.
r4#test translation-rule 1 7
The replaced number: 7711
I have looked at the Doc CD too, but it's not clear.
Thanks,
Hunt
