You would normally want to configure it to be the same as the host name used
by remote router (either as configured or as modified by PAP/CHAP commands).
Unfortunately details on how it is used are little difficult to explain.
Depending on ISDN switch it may or may not do you much good, but it is great
idea to just always put the name in anyway.

command has no impact on PAP & CHAP authentication. The only use that I
figured out is when one router is configured for PPP callback. The called
router will refer to this name parameter for locating the return call DN.
