I have a lab with the topology,
router 1------------------router 2
This is a point to point frame relay connection. Router 1 has a point
to point subinterface of s 0/0.1. Router 2 does not have any
subinterfaces. This is a lab requirement.
When configuring ISIS on this link I can not get the routers to form
adjacences. If I add a point to point subinterface to router 2 the
problem goes away. I am told that this topology will work, but I am not
able to find the solution. Does anybody know the solution to this?
