Right now I'm running 12.1(5)T14 on a 2500. I've also tested it, with
the same results on a 2600.

What IOS are you running? I had same issue with 12.0 version and it came
out
to be a bug in IOS. Try it on 12.1.4 and higher and everything will
start
working magically.
