BBD,

Since this is a permanent installation and is not
dialup, I would recommend using the Multilink
interfaces. Some reasons:

 - I've had problems using rotary-groups and Dialer
interfaces with multilink PPP with permanent
connections. Evidently the fragment reassembly
algorithm is different and packets can arrive
out-of-order, confusing TCP. I am not certain of this
however.
 - Virtual-templates tie up the multilink
configuration for that router. You couldn't use
multilink going to another router.
 - Multilink interfaces run CEF distributed on the
7500 series offload the fragmentation and reassembly
to the VIPs and keep the RSP focused on more important
things. Distributed MP only works with four or less
links and only for certain PAs. Visit CCO for
details.
