IP mroute

Anyone have a good explanation/scenario where this would be used.

I have set up 3 routers. The one in between does not support multicasting.

I set up a tunnel in between the two M routers.

It works without the mroute being configured.

Both tunnels have pim dense configured

Any thoughts ?
