It should. My understanding of distribute-list in is that it filters routes as they're being moved from the link state database to the routing table. If you had a situation where you learned the same route from two different sources and you only wanted to filter one of them, you could always summarize the route on an upstream router as it comes in from one source, then use your dist list to filter out the summarized route.
