Hi,

I get into the engineering mode just want to test the Giga module, as it's
so strange that some ports on it keep up and down, but resumes stable for a
while. I opened case to Cisco several times about this but cannot solve the
problem.

Heard from my friend that this mode can test the module and some other
diagnostic commands. But the access mode depends on different platform.

Thx,

What do you need to get into engineering mode for? Most of the command
available are available in
non-engineering mode. Those that are not you will not to contact TAC
anyway
for them to make sense of it.
