No it is stated in the DOC CD as per the below link :

It stated that you can overwrite the hostname command with prompt
command from the global configuration mode
Please check it and tell me ur opinion

   There is no prompt command, it's IOS:

C3745#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
C3745(config)#hostname MADMAN
MADMAN(config)#
