Hi All,
Could someone please provide me a little bit more info about running auto-rp
over Frame-relay, the cco is not so clear about this.
Thanks,
Mohit.

Subject: PIM sparse-dense mode
HI All,
In my lab i see a strange behaviour while running PIM sparse-dense mode with
Auto-RP.
The lab setup is something like this-
R4----Ethernet----R1-------FR---------R2
R1 is the rp and the mapping agent..
The problem is that if I make R1 join some igmp groups on e1, it announces
this groups out just e0 which is connected to R4 and does not announce it
out to R2. Initially I thought that to see these groups in the mroute R2
should also join these groups, however that is not the case with R4, he sees
all these groups by just enabling pim on the right interfaces.
Also in the mroute I can see on R1 that the forwarding interfaces is only
the ethernet interfaces and not the serial interfaces.
I also tried using pim nbma mode for the fr interfaces but didnt help.
Any suggestions, Please help.
Thanks as always.
Smiles,
Mohit.
