OSPF/BGP RID mismatch (again)

I have been reading the archives on this subject and it sounds so easy.
"Change the RID so that OSPF and BGP match."

r1-r2-r3

BGP (r1-r2, r2-r2) and OSPF between all routers. R2 is the route reflector.
R1 and R3 advertise loop back addresses. R3 gets the mismatch. Change the
BGP RID (on R2) to be the same as the OSPF RID on R1. And then give R1 a
new OSPF RID. Does not work. BGP complains about mismatching BGP RID and
BGP never forms neighbors.
I changed back and instead changing the OSPF RID on R2 to be the same as the
BGP RID (on R1) and a new OSPF RID on R1. Then the mismatch moved to R3.
What should be changed BGP or OSPF RID. And what else needs to be done to
match that change. Do I have to change any neighbor statement etc.
