Tom,
U are right and my mistake (i should have checked before replying).For
ISIS there are only 2 types "multipoint and p2p" as u have written.
2, When I have to use clns? I confused ! When u are using the physical
interface for ISIS and configure it is multipoint then in addition to the
"frelay map ip" u also need the frelay map clns command (check archives
there are threads). U dont need this for p2p interface type.
3, And if I don't use clns in p2p network , I also don't >need config
isis for type-1 , right?
I did not get Q. CLNS is a diffrent protocol and with newer codes u dont
need this. U still nedd to configure ISIS on the interface and the
interface DLCI.
Hope its clear.If u check the archives there have been lot of threads on
this and FR issues.
