Kasturi, thanks for your reply,

With your replay ,I had some question, I don't think there
P2MP interface in isis, the interfaec type for isis only
multipoint and p2p, and the network type for isis only
broadcast and p2p, right?

2, When I have to use clns? I confused !
3, And if I don't use clns in p2p network , I also don't
need config isis for type-1 , right?

Thanks again

<P>Hi,</P>
<P>Yes u need not use clns in interface or global mode.
Its not needed for P2MP interface also.Only mapping to
clns if Frelay is used is needed.<BR><BR>Ur second Q i
think u meant u cant run type 2 as they are in same area
right ? bcoz if they are in same area they can be either
L1 or L1/L2 type. They cant be type 2.<BR>" &gt;the type 1
between them, they could only run type 2 &gt;because of
they are in the same area. right? " </P></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>&gt;Hi, group
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt; I read a file in cisco homepage for isis
config as
<DIV></DIV>&gt;below.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/97/isis-frint.html

<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;I have to question,
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;1, In the config of router H, F, if I set
isis in a
<DIV></DIV>&gt;point-to-point interface, I think don't
need to use clns
<DIV></DIV>&gt;setting. Not need the clns router isis in
interface and
<DIV></DIV>&gt;clns routing in globe config mode.
<DIV></DIV>&gt;2, H, F are in a one network of isis, It
couldn't config
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Thanks alot
